How Employing us works

Why do you need us? You want to build an extension so why not just tell a builder what you have in mind and leave them to get on with it?

Your builder may be very good at building but they can’t interpret your ideas creatively and manage the project professionally from inception to completion and provide you with peace of mind.

We are also problem solvers and our experience and insight can help to stretch your budget and add value to your property. We will come up with useful ideas and suggest ways of utilising space and natural light and also possibly save on running costs of your property. At a fraction of the overall building cost we are a good investment.

Nobody likes paying for the paperwork but if that paperwork is done correctly at the outset the project will run smoothly.

If you wish to extend your property please call us to arrange a meeting and discuss your proposals, the initial visit is free of charge.

We will discuss various ideas and advise you of the planning implications. We then write to you setting out your brief and our fees.

We can either provide a drawing service i.e. we prepare the necessary plans to submit Planning, Listed Building Consent and Building Regulations applications and hand the permissions over to you.

Or we can project manage the project to include preparation of specification, seek competitive tenders and oversee the project, dealing with monthly valuations and agreeing the final account. If you are busy and are not familiar with how builders work then let us take that hassle and responsibility away from you.
